Tips for Getting The Most Out of Your Natural Coconut Body Butter
Keeping your skin moisturised makes it feel good and look great. Body butter is an effective way to achieve the radiant, healthy glow that you want. Here are a few tips for getting optimal results out of your body butter.
Use it post-shower to lock in moisture. When you apply your moisturiser immediately after your shower or bath, you lock in moisture that keeps your skin soft and supple all day long. While you’re at it, remember to keep the water temperature below “very hot” to avoid stripping your skin of all its natural moisture in the first place.
Give extra love to the trouble spots. Body butter is especially good for treating super dry areas, such as elbows or lower legs. Check your skin over for particularly dry spots and pay special attention to these when applying your body butter, adding a little extra product and spending a few extra moments massaging it into your skin.
Use it as a substitute. Your body butter’s primary purpose is to moisturise your skin. However, it can also pull double duty when needed. If you find yourself in a pinch, feel free to use body butter as shaving cream, makeup remover, hand cream, or an after-sun remedy on hot summer days.
